Our client, a leading provider of Building Management Systems, is seeking a Senior BMS Service Engineer with exposure to Tridium, Schneider, Honeywell or Siemens products to join their team in Sydney. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can provide technical expertise and support for our client's BMS solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance services for complex Building Management Systems, including HVAC, lighting, and access control systems, using Tridium, Schneider, Honeywell or Siemens products
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and implement appropriate solutions to ensure optimal system performance
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and effective communication of system updates to clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and technical expertise
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in BMS design and development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Management Systems service and maintenance
- Strong technical skills in BMS software development and programming, including proficiency in Tridium, Schneider, Honeywell or Siemens products
- Experience with BACnet and other industry-standard protocols
- Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, and access control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams
- Ability to lead projects and work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel as required
